OUR CURRICULUM

Essential ways to fall in love with learning.

Designed to foster holistic child development, seamlessly integrating academic rigour with social, emotional and physical growth. Through guided experiential learning, we cultivate critical thinking, creativity, resilience and emotional intelligence while instilling core values of empathy, respect and personal responsibility.

Beyond foundational academic preparation, we inspire a lifelong passion for discovery and equip your child with the essential capabilities to navigate an evolving global landscape with confidence and distinction.

We nurture confident readers, proficient writers, and articulate speakers through a proven, multi-sensory approach. Starting at age 2, children develop foundational literacy via Letterland synthetic phonics, interactive storytelling, and movement. In K1 and K2, we integrate Ginn Readers to bridge phonetic awareness with graded literature—deepening comprehension, broadening vocabulary, and building a lifelong passion for reading and communication.

Mother Tongue language connects us to our roots and to the world around us. Our program offers a dynamic, nurturing environment where children develop proficiency in Chinese, Tamil or Hindi across all core areas: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Tailored for both local and international learners, our holistic curriculum blends foundational literacy with rich cultural experiences. We help every child build natural communication skills, embrace cultural heritage and feel at home in a multicultural global community.

We transform early mathematics into an interactive journey of discovery. Through engaging and hands-on activities, children develop a genuine grasp of key mathematical principles rather than simple memorization. By mastering the core concepts behind early math, students build a lasting foundation that sparks a love for learning and sets them up for long-term academic success.

Our Early Science Discovery program sparks children’s natural curiosity about the world around them. Through hands-on experiments, guided investigations, and playful problem-solving, young scientists actively observe, test, and deduce. This inquiry-based approach transforms abstract concepts into meaningful discoveries, building a lasting foundation for scientific thinking.

We empower children to become logical thinkers and creative problem-solvers. Through interactive robotics and early coding activities, students learn to decompose problems, spot patterns, and design algorithms. By programming real robots to navigate challenges, children develop an organized mindset, adapt quickly to new concepts, and build a strong digital foundation.

We harness the power of Music & Movement to spark brain development, creativity, and joy. As children play instruments, sing, and move to rhythms, they build foundational literacy skills, refine fine and gross motor control, and develop self-expression. It is a dynamic, whole-child approach that connects fun directly to lifelong cognitive and social growth.

Children delight in exploring different textures and materials, as well as assembling and disassembling objects to create something unique or simply for the joy of discovery. Our program encourages children to experiment with a variety of art materials, sparking their creativity, curiosity, and sense of exploration. This process also helps develop their planning, cognitive, and fine motor skills.

Our Cookery lessons turn the classroom into a joyful, multi-disciplinary learning lab. As children prepare recipes, they explore practical math through counting and measurement, observe culinary science in action and strengthen early literacy by following sequential steps. Activities like pouring, stirring and sharing ingredients refine fine motor skills and build cooperation, all while fostering healthy eating habits and nutritional awareness for life.

We inspire young minds to find their voice and build lasting confidence through performance. By combining spontaneous drama and structured activities—such as reading aloud, mask work, and creative role-play—children explore ideas using voice, movement, and imagination. This holistic approach refines speech and language skills while fostering artistic independence and creative leadership.

We harness the great outdoors to support physical, emotional and cognitive growth. From sensory play, field trips, direct games and playground play, children develop essential fine and gross motor skills through joyful exploration. By connecting fun directly to nature, we cultivate a lifelong love for learning and discovery.

Our family bonding activities bring parents and children together through fun, hands-on DIY projects that inspire creativity while nurturing a sense of responsibility towards our world.

Through these shared experiences, children learn the importance of recycling, conserving our natural resources, protecting the environment and caring for our wildlife, all while families create lasting meaningful memories together.

At Cedan Kindergarten, we believe education goes beyond academics. Through meaningful community and service-learning projects such as Showing Kindness & Appreciation, Helping Others in Need, Protecting the Environment and Caring for Animals, our children develop kindness, empathy, responsibility and compassion.

These hands-on experiences encourage children to care for others, appreciate their environment and make a positive difference in their community, nurturing them into confident, caring and socially responsible individuals.
