Academic Year Structure & Vacations
Two Semesters • Four 10-Week Terms
The school year is divided into two semesters, each containing two 10-week terms. Semester 1 begins right after New Year's Day with Term 1, followed by the one-week March Holidays. Students then return for Term 2, which leads into the four-week Mid-Year School Holidays. Semester 2 opens with Term 3 and is followed by the one-week September Holidays, after which Term 4 completes the academic year before the five-to-six-week Year-End School Holidays. Throughout the year, students also enjoy days off for all official public holidays, Children’s Day, Youth’s Day, Teachers’ Day, and the day following National Day.

Admissions Policies & Procedures
ACCEPTANCE DEPOSITS
An acceptance deposit is required to secure your child’s enrolment. The deposit is fully refundable, provided that one month’s written notice of withdrawal is given, with the notice period calculated based on the start date of the term in which the child will no longer be attending.
Please note that the refundable deposit cannot be offset against school fees or transferred to another child, unless otherwise specified by Cedan Kindergarten.
BABY BONUS SCHEME
We are an Approved Institution (AI) under the Baby Bonus Scheme. For new enrolments, parents are required to pay all initial fees at the time of enrolment. Thereafter, school fees and other eligible fees approved by the Baby Bonus Scheme may be paid using the child’s CDA, once the Interbank GIRO deduction has been approved and activated.
Please download the Interbank GIRO application form from the bank where the CDA is held in order to apply for the usage of funds to make school fee payments (if required).
